Linimo, Centrair (Chubu Centrair International Airport), Aichi Loop

Easy and smooth access and transit routes will be in operation to facilitate visitor movements. To reflect the theme of the EXPO, a transit system with minimal environmental impact will be developed, founded on public transit systems such as railway and shuttle buses. A park and ride system will be introduced to alleviate congestion on surrounding roads. Shuttle buses will transport visitors from the parking areas to the site. Traffic safety facilities will be installed and ITS (Intelligent Transport System) and other systems will be utilized to ensure smooth traffic safety and flow in surrounding areas.

Linimo (Tobu Kyuryo Line)

Japan's first maglev train service is scheduled to operate between Yakusa and Fujigaoka Stations to Nagakute Station located next to the EXPO 2005 site.

Centrair

Centrair(Chubu Centrair International Airport) is the aerial gateway to Central Japan. Scheduled to open in February 2005, the island airport will provide access to the EXPO site via the Meitetsu Line, transferring to the JR Chuo Line at Kanayama Station. The airport will operate 24 hours a day and be within 28 minutes of Nagoya by rail or 40 minutes by road.

A direct train service from JR Nagoya Station via the Chuo Line to Yakusa Station on the Aichi Loop Line is planned.
