Services for Foreign Travelers

Tourist Information

The Tourist Information Centers (TIC) of the Japan National Tourist Organization can provide you with invaluable support during your stay in Japan. These offices offer a wide range of services including travel information about Japan, pamphlets, and maps, as well as specialist advice by telephone regarding travel itineraries and the like. In addition, in order to support foreign travelers visiting regional areas, over 100 local tourist offices that have been designated as “i” Tourist Information Centers are affiliated with the TICs and provide a variety of information and other assistance.
