Participation of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement

The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement has for some time expressed its intention to participate in the 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan. With the approval of the International Exhibitions Bureau and a final determination by the Japanese government that there is no problem with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement taking part as an official participant, the Japan Association for the 2005 World Exposition decided to give this organization one module in the space allocated for international organizations.

Though it is often referred to as the International Red Cross, the organization will be taking part under its official name, which is the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
