The first phase of advance ticket sales to begin on September 25, 2003

Advance ticket sales are scheduled to begin on September 25, 2003.

The type of ticket is the general admission ticket (for adults, juniors [from 12 to 17], children, and seniors). The prices are scheduled to be 20 percent lower during the first phase, compared to ticket value bought on the day of admission, 15 percent lower in the second phase, and 10 percent lower in the third phase.

In addition to these tickets, an "EXPO 2005 Pass," for admission during the entire EXPO period, and special discount admission tickets will be introduced in the third phase. For the greater convenience of prospective visitors, a study is under way to accept applications for purchase prior to the sales dates.

Second phase: April 1, 2004 (Thurs.) – September 30, 2004 (Thurs.)
Third phase: October 1, 2004 (Fri.) – middle of March 2005

Approximately 50% of total admission tickets (14 million)
