Events

What kinds of events will be held?

There are basically 4 kinds of events being held.

Official ceremonies: Opening ceremony to welcome both domestic and overseas visitors, a festival on the eve of the opening ceremony, and a closing ceremony.

Association planned events: Japan Association for the 2005 World Exposition will be staging events in order to help realize the concept of “Nature's Wisdom,” the theme of this Exhibition.

Official events: We will be holding national days, special days, local public authorities days (prefectural and government designated cities), and pavilion days.

Exhibition participation events: These are events organized by a wide range of participants (official participants, autonomous bodies, citizens, NGOs, NPOs, the media etc.). We will also be accepting offers for participation by the general public.

Note: Events held during the duration of the Exhibition are scheduled to be announced sequentially.
